Les Révélations
Comme de nombreux artistes, je suis avant tout une coloriste, faisant jaillir les couleurs fortes et vives exprimant ma fougue et ma détermination, mais je suis, à ma connaissance, la seule à révéler la couleur en la cachant. Le carré blanc par touche, à la fois masquer et révéler le déferlement des teintes qui sont derrière.
Alors qu’aujourd’hui notre intimité est jetée en pâture aux yeux de tous, que la pudeur s’étiole, j’exécute un flamboyant contre-pied à ce diktat et préserve l’intime en posant systématiquement mes blancs derrière lesquels le spectateur cherche à savoir ce qui s’y cache, voulant à tout prix se glisser derrière le miroir, car …

Like many artists, I am first and foremost a colourist, making strong, vibrant colours burst forth expressing my passion and my determination. However I am, to my knowledge, the only one to reveal colour by hiding it. The white square, a brush stroke here and there, at once masking and revealing the surge of shades behind.
Although nowadays our privacy is thrown open to the eyes of all, modesty withers, I perform a flamboyant about-turn from this diktat and preserve intimacy by systematically placing my whites, behind which the viewer searches to discover what is hiding there, wanting more than anything to slide behind the mirror, because…
